Sexuality and People with Developmental Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder: A Cautionary Tale

PRESENTER:  Dr. Robert Joseph, Sexuality Consultant, Licensed Psychologist

Sexuality has emerged as a key component in treatment planning and the provision of therapy for people with developmental disabilities. Dr. Joseph’s talk will present a thoughtful and experienced approach to understanding
what you need to know to enhance your adolescent or adult child’s life and to help ensure that they are safe from harm. It is a cautionary tale about what may happen if one ignores this undeniable aspect of a person’s life.

Light refreshments will be served.
