Stand Together for Autism Services on Staten Island – Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Petrides

On Sunday, October 16th, Borough President James P. Molinaro will be holding his second annual “Stand Together for Autism Services on Staten Island” event at the Michael J. Petrides School, 715 Ocean Terrace in the school auditorium, beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Our goal is to fill the auditorium with Staten Island families, friends and caregivers of those living with autism to join us as we hold a Community Information Open House and call on government to do more to help the autism community.

Staten Island has one of the highest rates of autism in New York State.  In that vein, Borough President Molinaro continues to hold this event to let Staten Island’s autism community know that they do not stand alone in their fight for services they need and deserve.  Should you have any questions regarding the above or about the event, please call Joanne Nuzzo, Director of Special Events at (718) 816-2133.
