NatureFest, created by the Museum, is marking it’s 9th year celebrating Staten Island’s natural treasures and drawing nature lovers of all ages, sizes and plumages. In addition to the usual exciting activities and crafts on topics including beach study, fun with bubbles, butterflies, dragonflies, fire making, energy efficiency, local geology and a magic show!

The Museum will be joined by other Island nature enthusiasts: Harvey Bird from the Metropolitan Herpetological Society, Solar1/NYSERDA Energy $mart Communities, GrowNYC, SI Compost, Fresh Kills, Staten Island Zoo, Audubon, Clean Ocean Action, the National Park Service, the Staten Island Geology Society, and the Greenbelt Environmental Education Dept!
