  1. Parents that are looking for elementary school fundraising ideas that will help to improve their children’s learning environment should also explore Adopt-A-Classroom. This is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting teachers and students. Each classroom has such a vast network that would likely be happy to provide some sort of monetary support to the class (meaning, to adopt a classroom or adopt a school). The Adopt-A-Classroom program makes it easy for teachers and their PTA members to tap into that resource. There has been a successful track record in this area – since 1998, it’s raised over $11 million on behalf of teachers. Anyone can go to AdoptAClassroom.org to support a classroom and teachers can register here as well.
