DOE Family Reunion Event at Riverbank State Park – Saturday, June 27, 2009

    Good Morning!

With the Weather Channel predicting sunshine and temperatures in the 80s this Saturday (June 27), I want to invite all of you and your families to come out for some organized play in Riverbank State Park, in Manhattan, at our first Family Reunion Event. The fun will get underway at 11 a.m.  and end at 3 p.m.

OFEA and the PSAL have been hard at work creating an event to celebrate the beginning of Summer with all NYC public school families along with our colleagues at the DOE and their families. What better way to kick off Summer than with rugby, soccer, basketball, yoga, arts and crafts, track and field, double dutch, and more.  Limited refreshments will be available. The event is free for all families.

If you are going to be in the City this weekend, please join us!

I hope to see you on Saturday!
