“Going into the Community” – A workshop for parents and guardians of children with Autism. Presented by the District 75 Office of Autism and The Office of Family Engagement and Advocacy.

Topics will include:

  • Strategies to decrease behaviors in the community
  • How to create your own visual supports for the community
  • How to assist your child/young adult in a variety of places
  • To  include the barbershop, shopping, visiting relatives and much more!

Date and Time: Wednesday, February 11, 2009 Between 10 a.m. and 1p.m.
