NAMI National Alliance on Mental Illness – Tell Them Your Story!

On February 24th, NAMI-NYC Metro members are going to Albany to talk to our legislators, and they’re asking the entire NAMI-NYC Metro community to share their personal stories about how budget cuts are affecting mental health services.

NAMI-NYC Metro believes in the power of personal stories to change minds and impact budgetary decisions; if you have experienced:
.    Cuts to your mental health program or support group
.    Reductions in services that are affecting quality of care you or your loved ones receive
.    Are unable to access the care that you need.
They  want to hear from you! If you have a personal story describing how budget cuts have affected your mental health services, please contact Katie Linn at klinn@naminyc.org or call her at 212.684.3365.

They look forward to hearing from you!
