Share Your Support of Autism Speaks with Your Loved Ones this Holiday Season!
It’s never too early to start your walk fundraising efforts.  With the holidays right around the corner, family, friends, neighbors and colleagues are looking for meaningful ways to show their love and friendship.  Please consider sharing one of these sample messages to provide your loved ones with the opportunity to support the critically important work you do for all of those affected by autism through Autism Speaks.  When you or a loved one make an online donation to the walk, you can also print out a beautiful holiday certificate after the donation has been made.  Please be sure to register you and your team today, so you can take advantage of this giving opportunity.  As always, donations to Autism Speaks are tax-deductible.

2009 Walk Community
Have you considered being a part of the 2009 Walk Committee?  Did you enjoy your experience at last year’s Walk for Autism?  Do you have ideas on how to increase fund raising, food donations or fun at the Kick-off?  We are looking to add new Committee Members in 2009 and grow this Walk to its fullest potential. Join us at our next committee meeting on Monday, December 15, 2008 at Autism Speaks offices from 7:0 pm – 9:00 pm. For more information or to RSVP contact Autism Speaks at (917) 475-5068 or by e-mailing us

Advocacy
We need your help!  Please take a minute to register online at www.autismvotes.org to receive advocacy alerts and updates on New York State legislation initiatives.  When an important initiative such as State insurance coverage for autism services is introduced or being voted on in New York State, you’ll be one of the first to know so you can help us take action!
