NYC DOE School Calendar for the 2011-2012 Year

• Dec. 26^th to  Jan.2^nd    –   Winter Recess (including Christmas and New Year’s Eve) Schools are closed. Students return to school on Tuesday, January 3, 2012
• Jan. 16^th  -   Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Schools are closed.)
• Feb. 20-24^th -  Midwinter Recess (including Washington’s Birthday) Schools are closed.
• April 6^th to 13^th   –   Spring Recess (including Good Friday, Easter, Passover) Schools are closed. Students return on Monday, April 16^th
• May 28^th -  Memorial Day Observed (Schools are closed.)
• June 7^th – Chancellor’s Conference Day (students will not be in attendance.)
• June 27^{th -}  Last Day for all students
