Lenscrafters 718-698-4733
Staten Island Mall, Staten Island, NY 10314
Lenscrafters has a new program for children in need of glasses. It is called the Gift of Sight program. If you cannot afford a new pair of glasses for your child, Lenscrafters will help you out. First, get a letter from the school on school letterhead stating that your child goes here, and that you need to be part of the Gift of Sight program. You must contact PS 373R and ask for Kirsten Rorke, Parent Coordinator 718-816-8897 ext. 210. You may then call Lenscrafters at the Mall and arrange an appointment for your child. You must pay the $35.00 for the eye exam, but the eyeglasses are FREE. Bring the letter from the school with you when you go for the eye exam.
