Workshop: “How Medicaid Coverage has Changed”

On Tuesday, October 23rd from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. there will be a workshop entitled “How Medicaid Coverage has Changed for Most People with SSI or SSD and How to Get the Care You Need”. This workshop will be held at the Institute for Basic Research (IBR) located at 1050 Forest Hill Road, Staten Island. Parent to Parent will be hosting this event.
This workshop will be presented by Nakia Brown from the Community Service Society of New York. Come learn about: How SSI/Medicaid is changing to Managed Care, Who does not have to join a health plan or how to choose one if you do, What are your rights under Managed Care, Who do you contact when you need help, and much more.
